Spy_rook's fan art is a glimpse into the world that trainers would inhabit as the Pokemon anime has since the beginning, highlighting a house that keeps surveillance of the Pokemon Center across the street as if it's the frequent target of Team Rocket attacks. The inquisitive Riolu stares at the camera blankly before inspecting the camera with a sniffing nose, reflecting the real-life animal that the black and blue creature is based on. As the clock represents the seconds that proceed as minutes, the camera reveals some trees around the Pokemon Center and a couple of nearby houses, but upon observing an area inside the house, a Riolu interrupts the feed by getting too close to it.Īs the Riolu in Spy_rook's animation comes into view, the Fighting-type Pokemon turns its head curiously and blinks before it encroaches on the moving camera. With the clock starting at midnight, as it does with the Five Nights at Freddy's games, the camera focuses on a Pokemon Center that looks like a cross between the Gen 3 and 5 aesthetic then begins to pan to the left. In a preview for the 3DS, Nintendo said there will be alternate storylines from the original game and new Pokemon popping up. Nintendo also announced an expansion for Pokemon Sun and Moon with Ultra Sun and Moon.
On June 14 at E3, Nintendo will let people play a demo of the deluxe edition, as well as host an invitational tournament.

The announcement comes less than a week before the kickoff of the E3 game industry trade show in Los Angeles, where Nintendo is expected to present new titles for the Switch and the 3DS portable game console. It will also come with new features like three-on-three team battles, group battles and ranked online matches. The deluxe edition for the Switch will add five new fighters: Darkrai, Scizor, Empoleon, Croagunk and Decidueye. The game originally came out for Nintendo's Wii U in March 2016, shifting from the usual turn-based Pokemon battles to a fast-paced fighting style.
